Teen Drivers Education

We offer pickup from the Hutto and Taylor high schools during the school year for the 5pm-7pm class.

TEA requirements for teen driver education:

Student should be 15-17 years of age. A student 14 years of age may enter and start program, but may not receive an instruction permit or receive in-car driving lessons until they turn 15 years of age. A total 32 hours of classroom theory (16 sessions – 2 hours each session). Hutto teen drivers education is the best option for all the parents and guardians who want their teenage children to start learning how to drive.

Class schedule:
Monday – Thursday 5:00 – 7:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm during the school year.
We are closed Sundays and major holidays.

Driver’s Permit

Students must complete 6 hours (3 days) of class instruction. Students are then tested and issued a state certificate to present to DPS along with birth certificate, verification of enrollment at high school, (2) forms of proof student is resident of Texas ( report card SS card, or student ID), (2) forms of ID for parent ( insurance card, voter ID, bank statement, work badge), and notarized application. Drivers Ed for teens Hutto is providing by far the best choice.

Course Completion:

Students will receive a state certificate acknowledging completion of the state requirements for driver education. Students are also provided a certificate qualifying them for automobile insurance discounts. **See your insurance agent for details. Teenage is the right time to get enrolled in Hutto teen drivers Ed.

Course Fee:

The course fee is $375.00 + tax which includes the 32 hours of classroom instruction and 14 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. We accept cash, credit card, and money orders.
